In this session, we will explore how student employment professionals can leverage organizational partnerships to help their Federal Work-Study programs thrive. Drawing from the experiences and processes developed through the partnership between Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) and EQPD, we will demonstrate how to create mutually beneficial partnerships that support both the institution and the students they serve.
Additionally, we'll provide practical steps for putting these partnerships into action, offering tips on how to ensure the success of any collaboration type, whether local or remote. This session aims to equip institutions with the knowledge and strategies to implement best practices and maximize the impact of their student programs.

Student Employment Specialist at Southern New Hampshire University
Sarah serves as the Student Employment Specialist at Southern New Hampshire University, working with both on-campus and online student populations. One of the primary focuses of her role is collaborating with off-campus partners, both local and online. Sarah holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a master’s degree in Business Administration, and she is currently pursuing a certificate in Human Resources.
Sarah has been part of SNHU since her college career began in 2014, starting as an on-campus student. Sarah played on the Softball team and later had the opportunity to coach after graduation. Her career at SNHU continued as she worked her way through the Student Financial Services departments—first with their online school and then with the campus branch. Sarah has been in her current role in Student Employment for almost three years and she still feels like she learns something new every day!
Rachel is a dynamic professional with a diverse background spanning education, non-profit administration, and youth development. Currently serving as the Director of Tutor Services at EQPD, Rachel brings over a decade of experience in driving impactful initiatives within educational settings. In her previous roles, she has demonstrated her leadership prowess by overseeing a team of student leaders and delivering career-readiness programs, significantly increasing student engagement with career services. With a Master of Education in Adult and Higher Education from Grand Valley State University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies, Spanish, and Music from Hope College, Rachel combines her passion for education with a strong foundation in intercultural understanding. Known for her proactive approach and ability to foster collaborative environments, Rachel continues to make a positive impact in the field of education and youth development.
